Amazingly, it is not possible to cover all subjects important to treating the thumb in one day. A one day course can teach you the anatomy, functional role and assessment of the thumb as well as a selection of conditions. Choose a selection from tendon injuries, ulnar collateral injuries, fractures, De Quervains Tenovaginitis, Trigger thumb, digital and peripheral nerve injuries, splinting the thumb and arthritis. Alternatively, build a two day course! Attached is an example of a one day programme for management of the thumb.
