IMAGING FOR THE HAND AND WRIST

An opportunity to understand the theory behind using different imaging for the hand and wrist including MRI, X-ray, CT, diagnostic ultrasound and bone scan.  Specific views and clinical reasoning behind choosing these views will be considered.  Interpreting all these images will be discussed using cases relating to the digits, hand, thumb and wrist.  There will be an opportunity to develop clinical reasoning in relation to surgery and therapy for some of these cases. 

The one day course at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Saturday 29th January 2011 HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE HOST.  They are hoping to run it later in the year.  For further details about this course ploease e-mail anita.blyth@chelwest.nhs.uk
