This course covers the detailled anatomy and biomechanics of the wrist. It aims to help the therapist to assess undiagnosed conditions, confirm diagnosis and understand the principles used to treat common conditions. Conditions discussed includes carpal and forearm fractures, carpal instabilities, the rheumatoid wrist and soft tissue problems (such as TFCC tears). As with all NES Level II courses, all teaching is evidence based.
Previous course evaluation has included the following comments:
"Excellent course. Very relevant for my work in # clinic and hand clinic, thanks very much"
"Altogether a very good course, lots of useful information, very helpful in learning to palpate carpus – I know my way around it better now!"BAHT Level II - Wrist.
We will be running this course in Norwich (yes - Norwich again!) in the Spring of 2012. Dates are Wed - Fri 25th - 27th April. Again we are using the superb venue of the Sportspark - the sports and conference facility on the site of the University of East Anglia.
